Membership Requirements
The council also benefits from having corporate members. Our corporate members:

• Are the council’s ambassadors in Corporate America, supporting and promoting VMSDC’s mission
  
• Establish a minority business development policy or plan supporting supplier diversity and minority business development
  
• Designate a primary contact to assist MBEs through the procurement process
  
• Participate in at least two major council events each year
  
• Sponsor council programs
  
• Report business activity that is requested from the council. (Please note all information submitted to the Council is confidential.)
  
• Participate on the Board of Directors if appointed by the Chair and approved by the Board
